Design Club First Meeting Thursday, January 29th, 10:00 am-12:00 noon

Come meet with others who are embarking on a home design, decorating or construction project to learn, share and manage your project. Led by Patina Collections’ owner Julie Kruger-Lutz, the group will focus on the individual needs of each participant and work together to get and keep each of you started, on track and sane! Subsequent sessions will be Thursdays February 5th, 12th and 19th. Pre-registration required. $80 for 4 sessions, plus one in-home consultation scheduled at your convenience.

Come and experience the French art of broken plate mosaics. International design artist Chris Janzé will guide you through this unique creative technique in a fun two-part class. From applying the beautiful china shards through the grouting process you will transform a simple terracotta pot into a versatile piece of art. Terracotta pots, plates, adhesive and grout provided. Please bring rubber gloves, an apron and misc. trinkets and treasures if you have them. Come & play! $80 includes two sessions and materials. Class size limited. Pre-registration required.

If you love the look of expensive hand painted glassware, this class is for you. Chris Janzé claims that even beginners can create professional results with the right materials and techniques. Chris will explain the fundamentals of glass painting, share trade secrets and guide you through your first project in this hands-on class. All materials provided. Wear your paint clothes. Learn how to paint, faux finish, distress and decorative hand paint wooden furniture in this fun hands-on class taught by Chris Janzé. Show up with your own small piece of primed furniture or chose one of ours. We’ll provide the materials and techniques to transform your piece into the elegant or imaginative design of your choice.
